Thanks for viewing this stunning 1971 Intermeccanica Italia Roadster. This is just a great car all-around. It underwent a restoration with body-off repaint just a few years. It's a super-nice driver that starts, runs and drives exceptionally well. This is the perfect car for you, if you're looking for a classic convertible that's turn-key, no drama and ready to enjoy in the sunshine. And BOY DOES IT TURN HEADS!, Wearing a shining coat of White paint and decked out with a Black interior, this Italian-American muscle car features a Ford 351 Cleveland with a 4-speed Hurst transmission., First impressions driving this car.... WONDERFUL. It starts right up, shifts and drives with no hesitation, has good brakes, good clutch, no problem with engine temperature and no strange, annoying or problematic noises. It is (to use a term which I rarely use) a HOOT!. It has so much grunt and acceleration, it will take you by surprise. That wicked American v-8 lets out a sweet sound that will make you smile and make everyone else jealous., Exterior, The car is in very good condition all the way around. The body lines are all very straight. I have pics of the restoration, which was privately done, in which you can see the body stripped down, prior to paint. The glass and top and excellent., Interior, Also very good condition. The interior was refitted at the time of restoration and shows very little wear., Mechanics, as described above, this Italia is a great driving car. Long-term ownership has been a blessing for this beauty, which has benefited from consistent maintenance and a restoration., Misc, The electrics; interior lights, exterior lights, radio, fans, etc, are all in good working order AND THE AIR-CONDITIONER BLOWS ICE COLD!, The wheels are not original to the car and from my understanding, they are a later Mustang or Ford wheel. They do have plenty of tread and really make the ride of this car far superior to other cars of this era with smaller and skinnier wheels. They give the car a very secure grip of the road which allows gives the driver more confidence, particularly when cornering.,,, $115,000 obo
