Offered here is a beautiful classic German sports car. This 1973 Porsche 914 has absolutely no rust and all panels are straight and solid. It is finished in Guards Red (painted five years ago) and the 1.7L 4-Cylinder engine is outfitted with Dual Weber carbs and chrome K&N filters. The car remains a great driver and sounds/looks nice with dual chrome tip exhaust. All surfaces have been gone over and remain in great condition., The Pirelli P6 215 VR 15 tires still have plenty of tread and the aluminum rims remain in good shape with no pitting. There is new carpet in front trunk and entire interior with the original rubber pad, car jack, and carpet in rear trunk in good condition. This 914 has optional floor mounted gauges plus a CD/radio (removable face) with additional amplifier mounted on top of spare. New mechanical additions include: front struts/shocks & mounts, spark plugs/wires, distributor points set, complete carb overhaul/tuning, oil change (high performance mineral oil/non-synthetic), transaxle fluid, aftermarket aluminum rear trunk rollers, crankcase oil filter screen, valve adjustment-all valves corrected to spec, valve cover gasket, ignition to correct timing, interior window latches and tracks lubed, replace worn shifter bushings (shifter tunnel, base, firewall, shift rod), fuel pump/hoses, and misc rusty/missing bolts replaced. All engine bay/both trunk wires encased in conduit, engine shroud painted with high heat paint, new engine bay sound/heat pad, new rubber brake/clutch pedal pads, and wheel wells/underbody coated in rubberized paint., This iconic Porsche is a great has been meticulously maintained and is a great investment at the price offered here.
