For sale: 1970 Lotus Elan Coupe, Serial number: 0009 J, Asking price: $5000,, Vehicle was purchased new by my father (the original & only owner) in 1970 from the Hethel factory. After touring around Europe for a month, it was shipped back to Montreal, Canada where it was used as a daily driver until being tranpsorted down to Pasadena, California where it has stayed ever since. The car has been inoperable since 1980. In its current state, we are asking $5000. The body has been removed from the chassis. Car is sold as is and will not be broken into parts., $5,000 firm
