A very nice car....even better when done., One of the last chrome bumper cars, 78,000 original (and authenticed) miles since new, mostly new chrome (bumpers and overriders), fitted with wire wheels (15" giving higher gearing and providing a 'half an overdrive'), all new spined hubs and chrome knock offs. Most of the interior is new and in excellent condition., Body/chassis: Perfect floors and trunk floor, excellent body other than one spot on a lower front fender..,.needs (and is getting) new factory sheet metal and while the paint is very presentable, will respray the entire car. Even the original battery boxes are perfect., Engine bay is detailed as for show...new radiator, alternator, master cylinders, metal brake lines, excellent (literally 'as new') wiring, new oil cooler, the last owner spent eight years doing meticulous work and the results are obvious., To increase performance, has a new Weber carb on alloy Pierce manifold, early model B headers, is going to fitted with a new top (original top was good but plastic a bit faded), has a new fuel pump, Brakes have been done (wheel cylinders, rotors, pads, shoes) all gauges and electrics work....even the interior and trunk lights. What is great about this is that (the founder, owner, and best customer) drove this car 150 miles from Eastern Pa to our shop cruising at 60-80 mph with a few quick leaps to nearly 100 mph, it was near flawless. Excellent ride and handling, maintained 70+ psi oil pressure even in Summer traffic on the Garden State parkway, ran cool, transmission and clutch worked perfectly .was a genuine pleasure., Work is in progress and the car will be done soon. Price is approximate (we may install a wood dash and steering wheel, possibly a new stereo/CD). And car is available for immediate sale., $14,000 ,, Advertiser Since 1974
