1960 Land Rover Series 2 Model 88 Deluxe Station Wagon completely restored by Land Rover restoration specialist, Lanny Clark. Less than 1200 miles on the vehicle since a full restoration with perfect rust and dent free body on new, galvanized chassis was completed. No expense spared over a 2+ year project period. Numerous unobtainium/NOS parts from Lanny's collection used. Every detail and option carefully selected with longevity and period-correctness in mind., Upgrades include: late IIa style anti-burst door locks/latches, Genuine LR inertial reel seat belts (and lap belts for middle front and rear jump seats), Roverdrive overdrive, Rocky Mountain parabolic springs, OME HD shocks, Rear lift gate/tailgate combo, high altitude prep (easily reversed), Rebuilt later IIa gearbox- stronger than original (original suffix A box also rebuilt and included with sale), Optima yellow-top battery, rare Kodiak Mark I heater system- fully refurbished, NOS side steps, "Nu-Link" floor and cargo mats, Stainless steel radiator support panel, Custom stainless steel expedition roof rack and ladder, NOS ash tray, NOS hand throttle kit, NOS gas cap/filler tube assembly, Hella 4000 Euro beam auxilliary lights (original style LR panel switch used for period-correct appearance), Hella Vision Plus headlamps (original, mint Lucas glass lights also included), NOS front license plate mount, Galvanized bumper overriders, You will not find a nicer restored Series Rover anywhere.
