1941 Nash 600 Slipstream Sedan 4148, The original Nash 600, most innovative car of a decade, so named for its ability to achieve 600 miles on a tank of gas, and turn on a dime (only one car of the era had a shorter turning radius). Streamlined, aerodynamic design, accented with wonderful chrome and tasteful logos. the Slipstream rivals any car of the era and holds it style today. You won't be disappointed. This is the last of the prewar beauties and echo's the elegance of the 1930s. Compare the design to the more pragmatic postwar models. The weather eye (intact on dash) is still the essential model for modern air conditioning. I understand from the old timers, these units are relatively easy to restore to working order. This car is essentially intact, very clean and has new exhaust, even the front suspension vent bonnets are present. All the interior and exterior door handles are present . The interior is spacious, the upholstery is older but serviceable and intact. It could use some new rugs. All glass is present and good. What are its issues? Three of the door mechanisms need overhaul and adjustment to latch properly. The trunk lid closes flush with the trunk opening but does not latch. All the parts for the doors and trunk appear to be present. Parts are available. I would also recommend work on the emergency brake which seems to need adjustment . In my estimation, with very little investment, this car becomes a 2 rated vehicle or close to it. I bought this car a month or so ago as a project to work with my soon to be 15 year old. It is just not the car for us and I'm looking to sell or trade for a Metropolitan. I love this car, but the point is family fun and something a little sporty is more in line with what we can do together. I'm far from an expert, and I haven't had the car long enough to explore it completely, this is an "as is sale" with buyer responsible for shipping, no returns, paypal payment only within 7 days, so I encourage inspections and test drives. If you come to California, I'll treat you to dinner. I'm highly motivated to sell and move on to working with my son on another car so make a bid., $10,500 obo
