It is our pleasure to present this pristine British beauty. This 1960 MGA Twin Cam Roadster is a rare and desirable piece, worthy of any enthusiast and/or collector. This is the last year the Twin Cam model was available because production only lasted for two years: 1958-1960. Only 2111 MGA Twin Cams were produced, 323 were Coupes and 1788 were Roadsters. This is a surviving example that was completely restored by current owner, taking a total of 38 months. Everything is period correct, except for the problematic engine., The dual cam system was designed for racing as this car was capable of 118mph top speed. The 1588cc engine developed 108 BHPC at 6700 RPM's; however, these engines were not as forgiving as the pushrod and tended to over-rev in lower gears, causing service problems and complaints from owners. The current engine is a much more reliable MGB 1.8L 4-Cylinder. The roadster still retains the front and rear disc brakes and the correct Dunlop Center Lock road wheels., This car has solely been used for car shows and has won every show it attended. You will be hard pressed to find another one in this condition, especially one that runs so well.
