1922 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost chassis #49HG, Barker style body by Brockman, A barrel sided torpedo body. This is an English chassis ghost not a Springfield (U.S. built) car. The former owner, now deceased, was a fastidious man who spent over $300,000 on mechanical and cosmetic restoration 15 years ago, including the installation of a gearvendors overdrive unit. The engine was rebuilt by Billings Cooke at the Vintage Garage, with other restoration work by Bob Jefferson. These restoration details were then proven by many thousands of miles of use participating in many tours and rallies throughout the U.S. and Canada. Thus proven, this car should be turn key for any enthusiast who wants to use the car extensively in Silver Ghost Association and Rolls Royce Owners club tours. The compartment behind the front seat is made of the finest mahogany and contains crystal decanters and service for two in crystal. The hood (top) and tonneau covers are black Haartz cloth, Sold ,, Advertiser Since 1970
