FRAME-OFF RESTORED ONYX BLACK 1957 BELAIR CONVERTIBLE WITH BEAUTIFUL RED AND SILVER INTERIOR AND A CONTINENTAL KIT 283 POWER PACK CAR WIHT FACTORY POWER STEERINGFew cars have enjoyed the lasting appeal of the iconic 1957 Chevy Bel Air Convertible. This is as good as it gets. This Onyx Black Bel Air convertible with its contrasting Red and Silver interior provides one of the most appealing color combinations of that era. This classic struts its stuff with wide Whitewalls, full size wheel covers, fender skirts and a Continental kit. The 3-speed powered by a 283 CI small block is equipped with dual exhaust and easy to drive with power steering. This is an amazing car. One of the most popular cars of all time is a 1957 Chevrolet BelAir Convertible. Its an absolutely gorgeous Onyx Black (code 793) 57 with Red and Silver interior (code 633) and a continental kit that adds just the right amount of elegance. The car has super sharp paint that was sprayed over a solid body with great panel gaps and lines. The chrome on the car has been all repolished, rechromed, or replaced and it shows it. The original bumpers were rechromed and all original GM parts were used when possible. There is a new black power convertible top that looks great on the car. The bottom of the car has been restored also and suspension and brakes rebuilt. The contrasting Red and Silver interior has been redone in the original seat covers style, door panels and carpeting. The dash is an original work of art with great looking chrome accents and an up dated AM/FM cassette radio. The engine is the original FC coded 283 cubic inch power pack with 220 horse power. It runs like a top and was one of the best optional engines in 57. The transmission is an original 3 speed manual and the rear differential is factory. The power steering makes the car a breeze to drive. The wheels and tires are factory steel with full disk hub caps with spinners. Wide white wall tires, dual chrome exhaust tips and rear fender skirts finish off the car perfectly.
