1985 CHEVROLET EL CAMINO, RARE Choo-Choo custom; 305 cubic inch, automatic 3 - speed; Body is straight with only a few small dings that can be seen only at close inspection. New Dual Hooker Header 3.0" collector reduced to 2.5" exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers; water pump, distributor, belts, hoses, thermostat, spark plugs / wires & battery cables. Car runs good, but does need work: 1) Rust holes behind rear window, 2) Electric windows work, but wiring at switch could be better 3) Ignition wires and High / Low beam wiring harnesses could use some help, but the car will start-up every time. 4) Driver's side A-frame needs new bushings 5) Down shifting to pass must be done via floor shifter 6) Slight water leak at the thermostat housing, but I have a new housing I bought from the dealership 7) Air Conditioner compressor has been removed to install Headers - Don't know if it works, but you'll get that with the car 8) AM/FM Radio is there, but it no longer works 9) Heater hose is bypassed and fan doesn't work 10) Windows are tinted, but they're starting to peel off pretty bad and should be redone. Battery is dated 02/07. To sweeten the deal I'll throw in a complete (Includes new clutch plates, shifter, drive shaft - I think, flywheel & pedals - from a Nova) 5 Speed transmission from an '89 IROC Z28 Camaro, but you'll have to install it or sell it. Car must go; Would trade for a certain sporty economy car with good fuel mileage that's capable of pulling a small trailer like a 1st choice 91-95 Saturn SW2 station wagon, 2nd choice Saturn SC2, Dodge Neon, Ford Probe or....make offer (Car plus trailer trades welcome).
