1964 PORSCHE 356C, MATCHING NUMBERS. Pampered by one owner for 29 years. This Porsche accelerates and shifts effortlessly with no hesitation, tracks straight as an arrow. The vehicle has always been rust free, registered in San Diego, California and still this 356 C proudly wears its black license plates. The 356C Porsche is the last generation and the most refined version of the 356 Line. The C-model came equipped with factory four wheel disc brakes and a more powerful 1.6Liter engine producing 88 hp at 5200 RPM and 90 Lbs of Torque. This Rutter's bodied coupe has it's original numbers matching engine and transaxle. The car is also fitted with driving lights, a Blaupunkt AM/FM/SW radio and chrome wheels. The vehicle has recently been painted in the original color Ruby Red code 6402, using base coat/clear coat. The black interior is also been refreshed. Restoration to the engine, transaxle, clutch, and suspension was completed less then 25k miles ago. This 1964 Porsche 356 C Coupe is one of the fastest appreciating assets in the car market and is a timeless piece of art that is truly a joy to admire and a ball to drive. Sale includes two original style horns, some weather stripping, and window felt. The car is in very presentable cosmetic condition but may benefit from installing these few items. The chrome and trim is nice however it is in original condition and shows some very light ware.
