1969 ALFA ROMEO 1750 SPIDER VELOCE, 1969 Alfa Romeo 1750 Spider Veloce in Green with Black Leather Interior. Designed by Pininfarina of Ferrari fame. The 105 series Alfa's were introduced at the Monza racetrack in Italy in 1962. Their real popularity grew dramatically when one appeared in the 1967 hit movie "The Graduate" driven by Dustin Hoffman. Offered is investment grade 1969 1750 Spider with the upgraded more powerful 1779cc, 4 cylinder, 120 hp. Light alloy engine with it's original mechanical fuel injection system. Weighing in at only 2,200 pounds, this little Alpha moves very quickly with its race car like handling, it will reach speeds of 115 mph. Stopping is no problem with its factory 4 wheel disc brakes fitted with alloy wheels and 4 new Michelin MXV tires. It retains its original polished wood steering wheel as well as the original jack, spare tire. The car is all original except for 1 respray of its original verde green paint.
