1976 CHEVROLET IMPALA, The 1970 version 400 cid small block 4-bolt main engine was built by a professional oval track engine builder including complete balancing, block/head steam holes, block/head milling, align bore/honing (+030) and pinned rocker studs. Build includes TRW 10:1 forged pistons, TRW 0.50 inch lift cam with 287 duration and 69 overlap, Edlebrock Performer RPM intake manifold, Model # 3310-3 Holley 750 cfm double pump carb, high volume fuel pump, dyno-tuned distributor timing curve, ceramic coated headers with 3-inch dual exhaust and high flow mufflers. A rebuilt Turbo 400 transmission, new GM positraction differential, new dual core radiator, new transmission fluid cooler and a new balanced driveshaft were added at the same time as the engine rebuild. The car interior is in very good condition. The frame and under carriage were cleaned, painted and undercoated at the same time as the engine rebuild. The body is in good condition for its age but will require work for rust on rear quarter panels and lower door areas. The engine, transmission, transmission cooler, dual core radiator, positraction differential, exhaust, shocks and brakes have only 3394 highway/street miles (never raced). The car is one owner and had 158,280 prior to re-build. Engine balance ticket, cam specs, receipts for machine work and parts are available. $4000 317-887-1410
