After a 38 year hiatus, the legendary Z06 nameplate made its return in 2001 and was immediately dubbed the hands-down best value in performance cars. According to the sequence number of the VIN, this is one of the very first Z06s produced since 1963, as it is only the 37th total Corvette built for the 2001 model year. Additionally, this is not the common modified, hard-driven Z06, this car has been well kept and is in outstanding condition. The paint looks fantastic, with no visible flaws. Tires are brand new Firestone Wide Ovals, and are mounted on the factory Z06 wheels, which show average wear for their age. Interior is in great shape also, with just the slightest noticeable wear on the driver's seat, and excellent door panels, center console, and steering wheel. These Black/Red interiors are fairly uncommon also, particularly when seen as clean as this one with none of the typical black scuffs on the Red upholstery and lower door panels. Someone really took care of this car, and was so afraid to get anything on the factory floor mats that they purchased a set of aftermarket mats with the Z06 logo to protect them with. This Z06 appears to be completely factory stock with no other aftermarket parts.
