1948 FORD F1, Engine is 1974 Ford 400 M small block (4" bore x 4" stroke). Crane Max Velocity cam and lifters. Easy Flow headers to dual thrush mufflers to custom bent tail pipes. MSD 6A ignition. Edlebrock four Bbl manifold and Holly 600 cfm carburetor. GM alternator. 15,000 miles since built. Transmission is Ford C-6. B&M shift kit. 2500-RPM stall torque converter. Running gear in front is Mustang II IFS with Fat Man cross member and 11" Granada rotors with GM calipers. Rear is 9" Ford Posi-track with 3:73 gears, 11" drum brakes and traction bars. Body by owner. Restored to original except fuel tank location. Paint by Vinnie Derienzo in Cicero, NY. Color: PPG Hot Licks, Hot Blue. Interior is all Ford, Taurus/Sable buckets mounted on custom van swivels. Grey cloth upholstery. Thunderbird column and wheel, Lokar nostalgia floor shifter, VDO gauges and AM/FM stereo with cassette. Southern Air AC, PS,PB and tilt. Modifications include gas tank located in rear between frame rails, box floor done in polished aluminum diamond plate with a polished aluminum truck box custom fitted. Oak trim. Battery located in truck box. Dash highlighted in polished aluminum diamond plate. Front coils cut to give truck the correct stance, a 7" drop from stock. 1949 Plymouth bumper modified to fit front of truck. Power steering, tilt wheel and power brakes. 1956 big tailights, high mount third brake light. Extra turn/brake lights in box rail ends. Many other items. California car cover and bra still in box that goes with truck.
