1964 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS, 1964 Chevelle Malibu SS, 454 big block, auto trans, power steering and brakes. Front brakes converted to discs. 2" cowl hood, with functional air cleaner cowl venting. Body-off restoration completed in spring 2007. Exceptionally clean. Color is a late model GM color called "Blue-Gold Crystal Metallic". It's very common on G6s, Auras, new Malibus. Engine is a '76 block, -781 oval port heads, 9:1 compression (89 octane OK), hydraulic cam, 750 Holley vacuum secondary, 1 3/4" ceramic headers. TH350 rebuilt with B&M internals and 2400 Holeshot converter. Engine/trans runs excellent. Chassis includes polyurethane front bushings, Lakewood lift bars (formerly SSM), 8.2" 10-bolt open diff w/ 3.36 gears, 2 1/2" flowmaster exhaust. Aluminum radiator. Wheels are Weld Draglites, tires are 26/9.50-15 Hoosier Quick Time Pros (rear) and generic 205/65-15 radials (front). All are in excellent shape. Drive anywhere. Interior is completely restored and features Procar reclining buckets and an attractive 2-tone white/black finish. Walnut steering wheel and shift knob.
