1962 CHEVROLET CORVETTE, This is a 1962 Corvette convertible that is presentable as it is. It has the very desirable combination of black with a brilliant red interior. Car has a 327 motor (300hp) with a 4 speed transmission. It is a 2 owner car and it has been with the current owner since 1975. Paint on the car is presentable all around with just a few minor scratches. Chrome is in good condition. Interior is leather and in good condition. Driver seat has one small hole and passenger seat will need to be re-upholstered (dog damage). Dash is very nice with most gauges working and with the original radio. Mechanics of the car are in very nice condition. Engine starts immediately and car runs and drives very smooth. Frame is in good condition ? straight and solid. Car comes with 2 tops ? convertible top and hard top ? both of which are in good condition. Overall this is a very nice and presentable Corvette and a rare example of a well preserved original.
