1957 CHEVROLET BEL AIR, This 1957 Chevrolet is done in the old school look but features a lot of new school items. It is powered by a new crate 502 cubic inch 502 horse power V8 motor. The motor is fitted with10 to 1 compression pistons and iron heads that have been worked over. Fuel is feed by dual carter 650 CFM carburetors sitting on a low rise aluminum manifold. All this power runs through a turbo 400 3 speed automatic transmission that has been built with performance parts to handle the horse power of the motor. The transmission is connected to a Ford 9 inch positrac rear end that is running 3:73 gears. The power hits the ground through Centerline wheels with Hoosier 31 X 16.5 rear tires and Goodyear P20565R15 front tires. The rear has been professionally tubbed to accommodate the large rear tires. The front end has a clip out of a 1988 Oldsmobile. Disc brakes on all 4 corners bring this machine to a stop. It is also equipped with a 15 gallon fuel cell and runs on 92 octane gasoline. The paint is done in a Pewter Grey with Red and grey reverse flames. Interior is done in a grey and black leather and tweed.
