1965 CHEVROLET IMPALA SS, This is a 1965 Impala SS. It's a numbers matching car. Still mostly original parts. The parts that have been replaced are factory reproduction parts. The photos are old, some parts have been updated or improved. For example the rear trim moulding is now the correct black SS pieces. The grille is chrome.The taillights are new as is the carpet and floorpans. Most all of the car has been rust proofed with Por-15 paint. The trunk is correctly splatter painted and has the correct jack. The car is not perfect as there are some flaws here and there. I would rate the car as a very,very good driver being very capable of entering shows, or perhaps an excellent start to a back to original restoration. Obviously this car gets plenty of thumbs up.. According to the President of the National Impala Club, this car is 1 of 1550 produced in 1965 with the following drivetrain, 396ci Mark4 with Quadrajet,Muncie M21 close ratio 4 speed, 12 bolt posi rear end,3.31 ratio(DH).
