1979 INTERNATIONAL SCOUT II, What i have for sale here is a 1979 international scout II that has been nicely restored. I believe this is one of the nicest examples of this model vehicle you will find anywhere. An older gentlemen owned this truck for the majority of its life in Arizona. He unfortunately passed away and his family sold the truck to a friend of mine. I am the 3rd owner and Purchased the truck from my friend. The truck underwent a pretty extensive restoration a few years ago and has around 1000 mile on it since the resto. The truck was already super straight so it was a joy to restore as most everything is still original. The original paint was still on the truck and was sanded to the original primer, coated with ppg k36 urethane primer and topcoated with ppg base coat and clear coat. the interior is mostly original and has been refurbished. The engine was pulled down and freshened up aslo. The truck was pretty much disassembled during the restoration and paint process. and any area that need attention was either replaced or refurbished. There was not a stich of rust anywhere on the body of this vehicle. and every body panel is original. the truck has never been wrecked lives its life in dry storage and never gets driven in the rain. I have numerous pics of the restoration and all of the original factory service and owners manuals. This truck does have the original rallye package and has updated bullet hole aluminum rims with bfg mud terrain 33-12.50 tires. Please, only serious inquiries only.
