1994 FORD MUSTANG COBRA (INDY), Here's a rare opportunity to purchase a one owner with only 1,324 miles 1994 Ford Mustang Cobra convertible Indy Pace Car Replica. This car is #618 of only 1,000 units produced. An extensive collection of documentation goes with the sale. I have had this car stored in a heated and insulated garage since new. There have been NO alterations. It's just the way the factory built it. The reason for selling? Too many toys. For 1994, Ford installed their very popular 5.0L V8 into this Cobra producing 240HP. They also installed high performance goodies such as stainless exhaust tube headers, GT40 heads, lightweight flywheel, and Crane roller rocker valve train with a sport tuned dual exhaust system. A Mach 460 stereo kept the tunes alive over the throaty exhaust note. The car also received special aluminum wheels with locks. All of this rides on a set of Goodyear P255/45ZR17 tires which are the originals and in perfect shape. To set the Indy car apart from the Mustang lineup, Ford included a graphics package, Indy logos stitched into the seats, and a dash plaque with serial number along with a trunk logo. Overall condition of this car is near mint. The battery needed replacing. But I still have the original. The only minor flaw is a small ding in the drivers door which is unexplainable. There is no evidence of abrasion or contact with anything. You only see it in the reflection at certain angles. Could be a flaw from the factory. This car was just recently checked out by a reputable Ford dealer which included an oil and filter change. They gave it the thumbs up. All recalls have been completed as well. The car may have low mileage, but it does get started regularly to keep all moving components lubed. As for history, I put a deposit down on the car in October of 1993. I purchased the car new on April 26, 1994 from Prestige Ford in Bellevue, Washington. Along with the typical window sticker and Certificate of Authenticity, I made a point of keeping everything that was part of that purchase transaction. This included items like Dealer Invoice, Manufacturers Certificate of Origin, Bailment Agreement, EFI starting procedure tag, New Car Due Bill, Temporary Vehicle Permit, Odometer Disclosure statement, License Fee Buyer Agreement, Express Care Card, Electrical Test Receipt by a factory technician, delivery check list, SVT Indy Information sticker still affixed to the driver's side window. That sticker was removed by most dealers before customers purchased their cars. How rare is that? A Cobra sales brochure along with other ford brochures are included. The usual manuals are accounted for and also included. Also a press release kit is part of the sale. I've also included unused tickets to the race, a anniversary promotional Mustang video, program, etc. A car of this condition with all the paperwork doesn't show up very often. See for yourself.
