1932 FORD ROADSTER, This beautiful 1932 Roadster Pick Up was built by California Street Rods to be the NSRA givaway car in 2006. Only the best components were used in its construction. It is a Brookville Roadster's body that has been painted with PPG Anniversary Silver paint to commemorate the 25th anniversary of NSRA. It has some beautiful custom pin stripping that really accentuates its great lines. With a Rootlieb 3 piece hood with louvered side panels and a grill insert from Vintique, it has a great looking front end. Topped with a easily removed Sid Chavers "Bob Top" is can be used as a convertible when the weather is less than perfect. The bed is done with nice wood and polished stainless slates. The fuel filler door is really cool with the "Gas Hole" graphics. The taillights are 37 Ford style made by Vintique. It rides on Wheel Smith steelies with Coker wide whites and spun aluminum moon disc hubcaps. It is pictured with 57 Cadillac hubcaps on the left side and comes with either set. The body is mounted on a TCI chassis that features a chromed dropped I beam Super Bell axle with disc brakes. Perfect set up for a Hi Boy. Out back is a Currie-prepped Ford 9 inch rear end with All American coil overs. The engine is a GM 350 HO V8 equipped with a Holley induction system, a chrome Powermaster alternator, Street & Performance headers, Magnaflow exhaust system, a Walker radiator with Cooling Components electric fan, chrome valve covers and a chrome air cleaner. The motor is connected to a 4L60E overdrive automatic transmission with a TCI shifting module which is connect to the rear end by a Inland Empire driveshaft. The Ron Mangus custom interior is done in Red Ultra Leather. The seat is from ISS and the door panels from Rod Doors. It also features a smoothed dash fitted with a custom panel filled with gauges by SoCal, a LeCarra banjo steering wheel that resides on a polished Ididit steering column.
