1938 PONTIAC null, This vehicle underwent restoration in the late 1970's and won a local Concourse D' Elegance show in its division in 1980. It was passed on father-to-son in 1984 and has been maintained but not upgraged since and always garaged. It has been regularly driven and had a rebuilt 3-speed transmission put in in 2007. The engine is a flathead six cylinder 3-speed transmission that is completly original with the exception of a coolant recovery system. It has a tube AM radio, heater, clock, spotlight. The automobile operates from a 6-volt electrical system. The dash is a metal wood-simulated finish with standard gauges and has yellow fog lights. Their are some spare parts that will come with this fine automobile, including a spare tire. The interior is mohair and in excellent condition. It has the classic wide whitewalls and suicide rear doors. This would be a perfect first project for a mechanically inclined person who wants to hone their skills by refining an exisiting restoration project. The body has no rust but could use some fresh paint. There is some minor parking lot-type scratches, but none requiring body work. An owner's manual will be provided. Seller will entertain any serious offer and will work with you to enable you to purchase this piece of America's automotive nostalgia. This car is a beautiful remnant of the rollicking 1930's and has Al Capone written all over it. Direct office number is (559) 621-6101.
