1970 PONTIAC FIREBIRD FORMULA 400, This rare Formula 400 is an original 'blue plate' California car, sold new at Century Pontiac in Woodland, CA. PHS documents (see attached) show that the car was ordered with a factory (M21) Close-Ratio 4-Speed Transmission, (G80) Safe-T-Track Rear Axle, (V81) Heavy Duty Radiator, (N41) Variable Ratio Power Steering and (U30) Rally Gauge Cluster & Tachometer. The car was sold to Pearson Pontiac in Sunnyvale, CA in 2006 with 64k original miles. Since that time, it has undergone a thorough cosmetic restoration in Pearson's own shop including all new paintwork and interior in the correct, original colors, Lucerne Blue and black vinyl. The car still also bares its original California blue and gold license plates. The motor in the Firebird is a NOM Pontiac 400.
