1961 LINCOLN ANTIQUE, saw Lincoln's debut of thier famous four door convertible, otherwise known as the infamous "suicide door" convertible. Although the 61 had the same body design as the 63 and 64 model years, the 61 was unique in that it had the "T-Bird" style front bumper that was exclusive to that year. Our 61 offered here, has a straight solid and original body, chassis and floors and has been treated to a beautiful repaint. The chrome, stainless steel trim, scripts, emblems and grill are all in exemplary condition and a new "Hartz cloth" convertible top gives the car the crowning touch. Inside, the interior is in excellent original condition and has been complimented with a new set of carpets. Things get motivated with a strong running 430 CID V-8, paired up with a smooth shifting automatic transmission which are tucked into a cleanly detailed engine bay. Power options and amenities include Power Steering, Power Brakes, Air Conditioning, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Power Seat, Factory AM Radio, Wide Whitewall Tires and fully functional retractable convertible top. Production of these Luxurious collectibles was a mere 2857 units, making it the second lowest production year of this body style. Its low production figure makes it one of the rarest and most highly sought after Lincoln's on the collector car market today, and thier values are increasing rapidly!
