1955 CHEVROLET 210, The timeless classic ?55 Chevy proves to be the best of the Tri-5?s when it comes down to smooth and clean. This very low mile ?55 is said to be ?One of the best detailed cars they?d seen?, noted the judges at the 2006 Des Moines, Iowa Good Guy?s event. Additionally, this car won the Tri-five award at the same show. This car is drop dead gorgeous. The detail is everywhere from front to the rear including the smoothed and painted bumpers. The body is laser straight as the pictures only tell part of the story. Everywhere you look, you?ll find detail and custom touches that will set this car apart at any show you choose to attend. The smoothed and shaved body is highly detailed and custom metal finishing will stop all traffic. One look at this car in person you?ll be impressed by the quality of work that took and the obvious long dedicated hours to complete. This car is new throughout. The total frame-off restoration is immaculate. Everything is new or completely redone. PPG Yellow Ice is the color complimented with a two-tone almond and tan interior by McFall?s Auto Trim of Iowa City, Iowa. The highly detailed and metal smoothing on the front of the block and intake took hours of prep work to be perfect. It?s a 350 V8 that has been bored .030 over with a 305 hydraulic cam, 4 barrel Holley carburetor, electric fuel pump, aluminum radiator with electric fan and power steering. The strong engine is handled by a Turbo 350 transmission with a 2500 RPM stall converter, controlled by a B&M floor shifter to a completely rebuilt 10 Bolt posi. unit with 3:55 gears. The battery is hidden in the trunk. The engine compartment is totally emptied of unnecessary clutter to show off all the detail work and body seams have filled to match the almond interior color and must be seen to understand its beauty. This ?55 Chevy sits on 18 inch - ?New Wave? Coddington rollers at all four corners with Pirelli 245/40 on the front and 275/40 on the rear for that perfect stance. The 2? drop spindles on the front and lowered springs at the rear assist in the overall raked look. An all new brake system with disc up front and drum in the rear. All the brake and fuel lines have been custom made. Completed with a full 2-1/2? coated exhaust with Flowmasters to finish the tune of the engine. The interior sound is wonderful as well with an AM/FM/CD stereo and amp with a CD stacker in the trunk. The entire interior is custom stitched in Tan Ultra Leather. The rear seat has a nice custom center panel painted to match the car. Even the headliner is custom designed. The same material is used to detail the trunk compartment. All custom gauges throughout and a 10,000 RPM Sun Tach. All the glass including the vent windows are new and there is new polished stainless steel throughout. The car has been completely rewired for all new components.
