1929 FORD MODEL A, Notes... This is a special Model A car offered for sale. It is a genuine 1929 Ford Roadster, the body is original, essentially unmodified steel, but the fenders and aprons are glass repops as is the Deuce grille shell. The tilt forward windshield hardware and top are original, thus you can run stock side curtains if you want to drive this beauty in not so great weather. This roadster has a very nice Honduras Maroon paint job, the chrome and trim are excellent, and underneath the car, it is just as nice. This rod runs a very strong and very reliable 327 CID Chevy engine from the '60s with a new fuel pump, carburetor, distributor, plugs, wires, and water pump. The radiator is also new. The transmission is a TH400 that shifts positively to get this little roadster up to speed in a hurry. A 9" Ford punkin has 3:1 gears for easy freeway driving and economy. A brand new set of bigs and littles are wrapped around new steelies for that just right look and stance. This car has a dropped front axle with disk brakes to stop right, and a tilt wheel for ease of entry and exit. The interior of the car is sanitary and functional. The dash has a set of black face SW gauges and a Gennie shifter changes the gears. The gray bench seat is well padded and comfortable. The top can be made to fold down, but the joints are currently tacked to prevent folding the top down because Model A tops tend to rub against the finish when retracted. This car has been driven about 15K miles since it was built, but it does not show it. Small paint blemishes and a seam behind the driver side door need a little attention, but you have to be up close and searching for defects to find 'em. There just isn't much about this roadster not to like. It is a cool, cool toy. Thanks for looking!
