1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS, Car is located in Arlington, Virginia. Original engine stolen, replaced w/1978 4-bolt truck motor; restored 1990-91; rebuilt transmission; everything on front end rebuilt-complete front end installed, all new parts, new tie rods, new upper & lower ball joints & control arm bushings, new steering link. All glass is good, windows roll up & down, convertible top is good shape, rolls up and down just fine, no leaks. Cowl induction hood (looks only). Cassette sterio and original AM radio. Sale includes more parts for interior, windshield mouldings, extra bucket seat covers, and other odds & ends parts appropriate for the car. No dents or dings, with 5 being perfect, this is a 3 1/2 to a 4. Beautiful car, lovingly restored by my late husband who restored many, many cars over a 40 year period for lots of people. This car was used very little, kept in our garage. Oil and gas changed regularly, always used 10W30 oil. Looks and sounds like a "muscle car". Bright red with black stripes, got lots of attention when we took it out for summer pleasure rides up & down Old Dominion Drive. Can be seen by appointment only. The picture of Vehicle Emission Control Information indicates that the bar that it is attached to came from a 1972 Chevrolet. As I said, the original engine was stolen and parts of the front end were replaced.
