1970 FORD MUSTANG MACH1, Up for sale is an extremely nice and well cared for 1970 Mustang Mach 1. This car comes equipped with its original M code 351 Cleveland engine, 3 speed manual transmission, and Ford 9" rear end. This is also an original Shaker Hood car that still has the original steel Shaker set up on it with the flapper that is still functional in the Shaker itself. The engine has been rebuilt and sounds awesome. The exhaust has been upgraded to the Flowmaster muffler which sound great. I am not certain of the cam size but it is cam up some. The engine still has the original manifolds, but does have an Aluminum intake and 700 Holley Carb. This car runs outstanding. I would not be afraid to jump in the car and drive it anywhere. Transmission shifts excellent. There has been a new Hurst shifter installed. The rear appears to have 3:23 Gears. The body appears to be an all original sheet metal car and it has been a Southern car its entire life. This car has 51,000 original miles and has the original color scheme inside and out. The body is extremely straight and I would rate the paint a 7.5 out of 10. The blackout hood, and rear spoiler are the correct satin black finish. The chrome is all in very good condition as well. The rocker panel moldings are outstanding. The interior is excellent as well. I am not certain if the dash pad has been replaced but it is in excellent condition. The car also has the original seat belts. This car is also very highly detailed in the engine compartment as well as the undercarriage. This car also comes with the Marti Report. This is an outstanding running and driving piece of American history, that has been well taken car of its entire life.
