1976 PONTIAC FIREBIRD TRANS AM, 1976 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, Black on Black. Car shows 58,000 miles, but we don't know if it has rolled over. Previous owner had motor (400ci / 6.6L) and transmission (4 speed manual) reworked. We have the paperwork on the motor and transmission - there are only a couple thousand miles on that work. We've put entirely new suspension on it, including new springs and bushings front and rear. Brand new tires, less than 500 miles on them. The car runs great. We have Pontiac Historical Society paperwork on it that goes with the car. The first owner bought the car with rally wheels on it. The owner before us put oversized wheels on the car. We replaced these oversized wheels with properly sized honeycomb wheels that were a factory option on this car. Because the last owner had oversized tires on it, he cut the front fender flares to install them. As a result the drivers side one has fallen off; the passenger's side seems to be on solid but is cut inside. Note there is a picture of this area. Fenders are fine, just new flares are needed. No major rust visible on the outside, but medium repairs are required under the rear section. Most of the car was undercoated (we think), keeping it in fairly good shape for its age. Interior is in decent shape; dash does have a dash cover but it?s a pretty nice one. Factory radio is gone and a modern Sony unit is the car now. AC was recently refreshed and puts out good cold air. Lots of new hardware, we'll provide receipts. You can drive it home, and would make an awesome restoration with very little work. $16,500 OBO.
