1960 VOLKSWAGEN DUNE BUGGY, Features... AM/FM Stereo, Single CD Player, Seat Belts Restoration... Restored: October 2007 Frame and chassis - shortened 1960 Volkswagen Beetle with no rust and sprayed with rust inhibitor. The buggy has a rebuilt 1968 1500 cc motor and a rebuilt swing axle transmission. New brake system installed. New shocks and suspension system. New rebuilt Solex carburator. Body is a Meyers Manx style fiberglass Exterior... Paint is fair. Buggy has bikini top. Interior... No carpet, seats are in fair condition, spedometer does not work, all lights work. Mechanical... Rebuilt 1500 cc air cooled German made motor, rebuilt 4 speed swing axle manual transmission, new shocks in rear, new motor & transmission mounts, new clutch, new rebuilt drum brake systems. Notes... The Buggy runs good. Street legal and currently registered in Virginia as an antique vehicle.
