1966 FORD MUSTANG, 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible. This is a solid, rust free, original North Carolina car. The paint on this car is absolutely a knockout. It is painted in its original Carolina Blue color, (F-code = Light Blue, Arcadian Blue). The body is straight and the lines and body panel gaps are excellent. (Original panels) Most of the chrome including the front and rear bumpers are new and what is not new has been polished and buffed. The white convertible top is in excellent condition as well. The hubcaps are original and again in excellent condition. This car was previously owned by a proud member of the Mustang Club Of America. He took great care of this car and it shows. The engine is the original 289 V-8 (c-code car) and it starts and runs great. There are no mechanical issues whatsoever. This Mustang still retains most of its original parts under the hood. It is neat and clean under the hood. The interior is the original Lt. Blue Crinkle Vinyl and Blue Rosette Vinyl and in good condition, as you will see in the pictures. The carpet is new, however the seats, door panels, dash, and steering wheel are all original to the car. The original radio was replaced several years ago with a Kenwood cassette player. All of the lights, gauges, turn signals, and horn work. The original owners manual, a few old pictures, and the Kenwood stereo papers are in the glove box. The trunk has the original spare tire and jack. No disappointments here, it rides, drives, handles, sounds, and looks great.
