1930 FORD MODEL A ROADSTER PICKUP, <P>Up for grabs right now at Happy Days Dream Cars in Warrensburg, Missouri is this immaculate Rotisserrie Restored Rock Moss Green Ford Model A Roadster Pickup. As history proves, Henry Ford was not only car crazy, he was business savvy! As "<EM>Father of the Industrial Revolution,"</EM> his creed was simple - build automobiles that are economical for people to drive and maintain. And, buy, people did... Over 1 million five hundred thousand Model A Fords were produced and sold in 1930! Out of that number, only 3,429 were the Roadster Pickups that are highly sought after today. (Figuratively speaking, thats just .2% of the total production that year). The newly styled truck line introduced in the mid-1930s featured external changes such as Roadster Type Doors, Wider Fenders, a one-piece Flat Windshield, Black Radiator/Headlight Pods, and Running Boards. Inside, Wood Floors painted the exterior body color and imitation Leather Upholstery Bench Seats found their way in to the cab. All these "new" features completed the style America adored then and even today!
