1957 MORGAN PLUS 4, Brighton Motorsports is pleased to present this nicely restored 1957 Morgan +4. This striking Roadster is powered by the 1993cc Triumph TR3 4 cylinder and shifts gears through a precise 4 speed manual. The car is a two seat model with chassis# 3601. The engine is original and the numbers match the stampings on the bonnet pieces and firewall. It does not smoke, runs excellent and has great oil pressure. The stock gearbox is quiet, precise and has good synchros. We replaced the brake master cylinder and all of the wheel cylinders. The battery has been relocated to the firewall area (by a previous owner) and a recessed pan has been added to hold it. This was well done but can be converted back to the stock location. The paint has been refinished in the factory original Red and shows nice luster and depth with only a few barely noticeable blemishes. The Tan vinyl interior was refreshed along with the rest of the car less than 10 years ago and still looks new. The beautiful wood veneer on the dash looks new with no cracks or crazing. All of the chrome and trim bright work also shows in excellent condition. The solid chromed wheels are factory correct with not a mark on them. All of the gauges and electrical systems work great. This Morgan starts immediately, runs strong, and is a real pleasure to drive. We do have the top bows and side curtains for the car but no top. A new vinyl top is available for around $800. This is truly a nice classic Morgan that will be a lifestyle enhancement for its new owner. This is a must see, drive anywhere car that will provide motoring pleasure for any enthusiast.
