1979 DODGE POWER WAGON, Restoration... ALL Original and in good condition - 3/4 Ton - Long Bed. Well maintained, one owner family. Exterior... All original, body is straight and the original spare tire is still mounted on the front. The paint is oxidizing but I have not attempted to wax int. There are some spots on the hood and roof where the paint has thinned and primer is showing. The tailgate works great and has some wear on the top edge and a small crease. Bed has small dent in wheel well and no holes or rust. Interior... All original. There has been a green blanket over the front bench seat since the first day it was purchased new. Some very small cracks in the vinyl on the side of the driver's seat. The shifter boot also has some separation in the rubber and the carpet has thinned some in the area where the front center passenger sits. Overall, in great shape! Mechanical... Has been continually maintained and runs great. The emission's system was removed just after it was purchased in 1979 and a 2 barrel carburetor was added to improve the fuel mileage. There are only 3 issues that I have not gotten to yet: 1) Rear gas tank has been disconnected, I think the relay switch needs to be replaced. 2) Coolant overflow bottle seam is separating and I have not yet found another one. 3) The volt meter has been disconnected and I haven't looked into this yet. Notes... Original AM radio works great. An FM receiver was added at some time it is used with the radio station setting. Also a CB and a cassette tape deck with separate speakers under the dash were added in the 1980's. These last 3 things have not been used for many years. There is a plastic bed liner and a sheet of plywood in the box. There is also a 1970's Chevy head rack to protect the back window, modified and placed in the bed in the 1980's. The rack is removable
