1970 DODGE CHARGER, Features... AM/FM Stereo, Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Interval Wipers, Bench Seat, Seat Belts Exterior... paint job done in approx. 1993 or 94. vinyl roof (had roof stripped down and the trim fastener holes filled when i got it painted, all trim and such were removed, as was the glass, prior to painting) front window got cracked recently. there is a very small amount of rust on the drivers side lower quarter panel, about 2"of the very bottom behind the rear wheel. there are also two small areas in the same quarter in front of the wheel that has some bubbles. the body is very straight, and there is no rust in the floor pan, a little in the trunk pan, but that has been sprayed with Por15 to stop the rust. the original rubber on the car is in great shape. some does need-or should be- replaced. Interior... seats had been redone when painted, however, since then, the leather has dried and cracked again- especially at some seams. carpet has been replaced this year, dash pad good, no rear view mirror. three-spoke steering wheel with full horn ring head restraints has all panels that i can think of. the original rubber on the car is in great condition- there were a few pieces i had replaced in '93 that i had gotten through Year One, they are not in as good of shape . they are the ones on the door windows to keep them water-tight, they need replacing again. Mechanical... factory options include: a/c, 318 eng, torqueflite column-mounted three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, has rear air shocks on it. the car runs and drives, but has a bad connecting rod bearing, giving it an engine knock. this car has not been driven more than 10 miles since it was gotten back from the paint shop in 93 or 94- due to driver's license issues(the lack of one) that put a stop to driving her (i'd FINALLY learned NOT to drive with a suspended or revoked one). Notes... factory options include a/c 318 eng torqueflite column-mounted three-speed automatic transmission three-spoke steering wheel with full horn ring head restraints power steering - these pics are from when it had been painted- the one in front of the shop was taken prior to the bumble bee stripe being painted on it. Also- the pics are kinda worn, so the white ?blotches? in a couple of spots are the pic, not the car. left outside remote control mirror shoulder belts (misplaced back in '93 when i had it painted). vinyl roof (had roof stripped down and the trim fastener holes filled when i got it painted), 3-speed window wipers ... i also remember that the brake system was an upgrade option. just the other day i found out it might have been part of the tow package. it did have trailer light wires, but I?d removed them, thinking it was something someone had added . i really don?t know . I know i haven?t towed anything with it. i had hood mounted turn signal indicators but one indicator lens is M.I.A, and i am also missing the fog lights.
