1956 FORD THUNDERBIRD, Features... Power Steering, Telescope Steering, Tachometer, Convertible (Soft Top) Restoration... Restored: around 1990 new quarters, rockers, some floor tins, bumpers rechromed Exterior... laquer with clear coat: this was a frame on with everything taken off. the body filler is starting to shrink a little but you have to get close and squint to see it Interior... seat, carpeting and kick panels all redone; dash is starting to show some age Mechanical... engine gone through in the early 70's; there is maybe 5000 miles at the most on it. starts and runs like a watch Notes... my father bought this car when i was a year old in 1969 he was a machanic and body man his whole life and this car was his baby
