1965 CADILLAC DEVILLE, Features... Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Drivers Seat, Bench Seat, Convertible (Soft Top) Restoration... Restored: 1996 Trunk floor and new metal on the rear fenders and new Imron paint. The interior was alos redone professionally. Exterior... The car received an amateur restoration in 1996. The car was black when I bought it in 1995. All the trim was removed including the front and rear bumpers, front and rear lights, and all other chrome pieces, then painted in a Scarlet Red Imron paint inside and out. It was repainted again with the same paint in 1999. The car could use some touch up body work, mainly on the back deck, wich I am told is a typical troubled spot on convitibles and the floor on the driver's side could use a patch or new floor pan and a fresh paint job, as this one is starting to show it's age. Other then that, the car is very appealing to the eye. Interior... The interior is very nice looking. The seats are covered in red valour and black vynal and is quite appealing to the eye. The dashboard and chrome also look very nice. The black carpet could use replacing. Mechanical... The 429 engine was rebuilt shortly before I bought the car. The carburetor was just recently completely rebuilt. The tranny, drive train and suspension all seem to be working fine.
