On eBay now. 1976 Lincoln Mark IV California car with 35,000 miles This is an exceptionally clean, original condition car with rare ?Gold and Cream? package (Lincoln?s Luxury ?Make a Mark? program). This was the last year of production for the Mark IV. Interior: Has every option including - Cartier clock, factory custom two-tone leather, finished in Gold and Cream. Power gold tint Moonroof - (Lincoln?s patented name for sunroof), Power windows, Power seats, Power locks, Power trunk release and Power antenna. front and rear DW825 gold film windows and electric de-icer, cruise control, tilt wheel, ice cold A/C, reading lamps, AM/FM 8-track stereo, hide away headlights, all 5 factory custom Lincoln rims, correct upgraded dual stripe, Firestone Supreme white walls. Engine: 460/385 V8 engine with C6 auto transmission, dual exhaust and more. Original Motorcraft four barrel carburetor was taken off (in 1976 these were not the best carbs) and original owner had it professionally converted to the superior Holley four barrel carburetor. Note on the Holley Conversion: Ford was familiar with the problems that the original Motocraft carburetors were causing and had already begun using the Holley 4BBL carbs on the 460 trucks of that year. Ford was in the middle of fuel conservation and emission control development and these big cars suffered in the mid-seventies due to poor performance and poor idle. This technology was in the early stages and certainly not was it is today. This carburetor is a 600 CFM Holley ordered in the shinny finish (was an upgrade) and is the correct carb for this conversion and was recommended for the Lincoln Mark IV 460. Car runs quietly and strong. Idles perfectly and shifts smoothly. Factory inspection stamps still show in many places. Exterior is the rare Yellow / Cream with matching landau and opera windows. Engine bay and under-carriage are extremely clean and highly detailed. All chrome is in excellent condition. Has dual alternators, Awards: This car has won 2007 first place in its class at the highly regarded Genesee Valley Antique Car Society (GVACS) car show at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) this past summer. Partial trade considered. Car has spent all of its life except for the last two years in California. It is currently located in Rochester, New York.
