1964 FORD GALAXIE 500, I have had this car for about five years. I rarely drive it and has been stored covered most of the time. The previous owner from the Midwest stored it for 20 years, who indicated driving it less than 500 miles during that time frame. This vehicle is mostly original and runs strong. I replaced the brake lines and master cylinder, replaced hoses, front and rear brake lining, bearings greased and drums sent out for machining. added new front springs, sway bar links and arm bushings, four new shocks, new battery and up-graded some of the electrical. Replaced oil filter housing, oil pressure switches and fittings. Added new rebuilt starter. All repairs have been performed by professional mechanics in Tacoma, Washington. Records on file. Convertible top in good condition. Goes up and down smoothly. Zipper for rear window needs replacing. Carburator could use some adjusting. Original radio works. Seat belts installed. Driver side-view mirror on toggle, which was an option that year. Overall this is a very solid and mostly original Galaxie.
