2007 LOTUS ELISE, Park Place is pleased to offer this rare 35th Anniversary Commemorative Type Elise 72D. It was an exclusive Collectible Edition memorializing one of the finest Formula One designs of all time - the all-conquering Lotus 72 driven by Emerson Fittipaldi to the F1 championship in 1972 and winning eleven races. Each 72D is sequentially numbered, individually signed by both Clive Chapman, the son of Lotus Founder Colin Chapman, and Michael Kimberley, Group Lotus CEO. It is specially certified with documentation form Lotus and comes with a Type 72D commemorative driving helmet with display case as well as a DVD telling the story. Exclusive features on the car include gold Exige wheels, gold pin striping, two tone interior with Alcantara trim, Exige racing seats, gold fuel filler cap, unique badging, and a rear spoiler. This Type 72D was sold new right here at Park Place to one of our best Lotus customers who only traded it in because he wanted the new 60th Anniversary Elise SC. Original MSRP was $60,085..
