1966 DODGE CORONET 440, 1966 Dodge Coronet 440 Convertible in gorgeous Persian White with a dark blue top and dark blue interior. FRAME-OFF RESTORED CAR WITH ONLY 9,975 SINCE COMPLETION!! Every aspect of this car has been professionally restored with receipts and photographs showing the process. The engine, transmission, rear end, suspension, front end, steering gear, brakes, body, paint, convertible top, interior, wheels, and tires; EVERY aspect!! The original 361 big block was removed and a 1968 HP440 was installed. Engine upgrades include an aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock 750cfm carburetor, Mopar 292/509 cam, Mopar aluminum cylinder heads, Keith Black pistons, Thorley ceramic coated headers, and dual 3" free flow exhaust. Fires right up and settles into a lopey idle with a deep aggressive exhaust note and a great sounding cam. Runs perfectly on 93 octane pump gas and there are no mechanical issues; no smoke, no leaks, no noises. NAILS YOU BACK IN THE SEAT WHEN YOU PUNCH IT AND RUNS STRONGER THAN ANY 440 POWERED CAR I HAVE DRIVEN!! This car has instantaneous throttle response, produces over 450 horsepower, and will run with Hemis!! Easily a high 11/low 12 second car yet idles at 800 RPM, does not overheat, runs on pump, and is tractable enough for a family cruise. The 727 Torqueflite has a shift kit installed but still shifts itself properly and the 3.55 SureGrip positraction rearend provides strong acceleration while allowing relaxed highway use. Power steering and a power disc brake conversion (with a dual chamber master cylinder) for safe easy maneuvering. Professionally restored dark blue interior with new seat coverings, new seat foams, new carpets, new inner door panels, new sill plates. The dash has been completely restored. All of the factory gauges work properly and the dash pad is perfect. No cracks in the original steering wheel. No sunfade on the instruments. Everything works correctly; the lights, the horn, the turn signals, the wipers, the ventilation system, the speedometer, all of the factory instruments, and the AutoMeter column-mounted tachometer. Fantastic body with no dents, no dings, no waves, and I cannot find any body filler. Photographs show the process as the car was disassembled and stripped to bare metal showing the incredible condition of this car's body. This was never a rusted or damaged car, all of the panels are factory original, and the car was in excellent condition before the restoration process began.
