1971 FORD MUSTANG, Fastback - Owner since June 1989. This Is my first car and was my daily driver until 2005. 85-90 H.O. 302 with Tremec 5 Speed manual overdrive. Gets 23-24 MPG highway! Retained original accesories A/C and PS. I performed this work about 10 year ago. Engine and Tranny have only 36K miles on them as reflected by the speedometer which was replaced when the engine and tranny work were done. Holley 650cfm w/ Vacc. Sec. MSD ignition & distributor. Carter Electric fuel pump. Flex-a-lite electric fan. Rebuilt entire AC system about 8 years ago. Compressor needs replacing and/or charging. Rebuilt entire braking system in Feb. 08 (all except 3 hard lines). Rebuilt entire front suspension about 10 years ago. Replaced rear leaf springs about 13 years ago. Rebuilt rear axle about 10 years ago. Cons - right front wheel is slightly bent - is only cause of some driving vibrations. Needs body work, but is all cosmetic. Some wiring is degraded- specifically for the blower fan. GREAT PROJECT CAR, but can be driven daily and worked on as it is still a very reliable car.
