1939 ALFA ROMEO 6C 2500, 1939 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Sport Touring Berlinetta Chassis #915030 In 1939 the new 6C 2500 models came out to replace the old 6C 2300B. The 6C 2500 was similar to the previous type, but had a higher performance with increased horsepower (95 bhp) and better gearing for a higher top speed. The Turismo model was produced in two versions both on a 128 inch wheelbase chassis. All the sport type had a 5-seat body manufactured by outside coachbuilders and mounted on a 118 inch wheelbase chassis. This magnificent vehicle was fully restored and was a Pebble Beach winner of the european class and won most elegant closed car in 1998.
