1991 CHEVROLET CORVETTE, The ZR1 is known as the "King of the Hill" . Only 2044 ZR1s were built in 1991... so this car (#487) with 28,800 original miles is quite rare. In 1990 a ZR1 (with only tires and exhaust modified) smashed the 24-Hour Speed / Endurance World Record at the average speed of 175.8 MPH over 24 hours while stopping only for gas, tires and driver changes. Needless to say the ZR1 is an exceptionally fast and very durable car. The sticker price for this car was $65,283.00 with the ZR1 Special Perfomance Option alone totaling $31,683. This Option package included: * LT5 5.7L Engine ( Lotus design ) with Multi-Port Fuel Injection, DOHC 32 valve V8 and a unique Power Key that provides the driver a choice of two engine modes. * ZF 6 Speed manual transmission (West German design). * Radial P315/35 ZR17 rear and P275/40 ZR17 front tires. * 17x9.5 front and 17 x11 rear aluminum wheels * Heavy Duty Brake system * Specific Side Body Panels, Solar Glass & Blue Removable roof panel * Selective ride and handling package. * Leather 6-way adjustable sport seats ...Both Passenger & Driver. * Delco Bose Gold Series Music System with CD & Cassette Player. This car is stock OEM with the exception of the added B&B exhaust, chrome on the sawblade rims and the remote entry. Included are the Service Manuals, laminated window sticker, build sheet, and cover. This 3 owner car was originally from Arizona and has never seen anything but the inside of the garage at night or during bad weather since arriving in NY. This car has been well maintained and the interior, paint and fiberglass is easily a 9 out of 10. Hate to see it go but I need the space and down payment money for my next project.
