1965 CHEVROLET CHEVY II NOVA, For Sale - 1965 Chevy Nova 2 door hardtop, 420HP, 700r4, 1500 miles I have no time for my baby these days and would love for someone to drive the wheels off of her! This car has a brand new Fast Burn ZZ4 crate engine from GM Performance Parts with the "Hot Cam" kit installed. GM rates this combo at 420 HP and it sure feels like it! There is less than 1500 miles on the engine. The transmission is a stage 2 Bowtie Overdrives 700r4 with coupled to a 2400RPM torque converter, both were installed by Bowtie Overdrives (www.700r4.com) and have under 2500 miles on them. Other items include MSD ignition, Mallory Unilite Distributor, Holley Electrical Blue fuel pump, Speed Demon 750CFM carb, K&N filter and K&N top filter cover, Zoops pulleys and brackets (not every bracket is Zoops, some are original), Hooker Super Competition Headers and dual exhaust. Power Steering, front disc brakes and an overdrive tranny make this baby a highway cruiser that will get mid 20s MPG as long as you keep your foot in check. The car was professionally rewired with a new 18 circuit American Autowire harness. The dash has new plastic molding set from Covan's Classic. Gauge cluster includes LEDs for highbeams and turn signals. Gauges are all Autometer Auto Lites. Custom center console houses Pioneer CD player and more Autometer Auto Lite gauges. The center console also wraps around the B&M Quicksilver shifter and provides storage while giving the driver and passenger an arm rest. When you sit in the new Corbeau seats that recline, strap yourself into the Simpson lap belt, put your elbow on the center console and grab the real leather Collector's Edition grant steering wheel you feel in total control and very comfortable! There is new carpet inside along with "Nova" floor mats. Backseat in great shape too. The paint is Lexus White with Pearl and looks great. This is a real California car with Black Plates and even the original license plate frame from Courtesy Chevrolet right here in San Diego. I also have what was given to me as the original owner's guide, owner's protection plan and brochure. This car was great when I bought it and I just made it faster and more comfortable to drive by putting in a bunch of cool aftermarket parts. The rearend is a one tire 10 bolt but this car squats really good with the multileaf springs and launches great. The previous owner had the wrong year hood lip molding on the car, i have the correct one, just have not had the paint shop install it.
