1968 SHELBY-AMERICAN GT500KR, 1968 Shelby GT500KR Ford Mustang Fastback King of the Road (KR) edition. Professional rotisserie restoration completed in 2007 with less than 500 miles. 54,010 original miles before restoration. All original drivetrain, 428 Ram-Air Cobra Jet engine and C6 automatic transmission. Power steering, power brakes, and factory air conditioning. This Shelby is one of only 235 with an automatic transmission and factory air conditioning. These were the fastest production vehicles built at the time with plenty of race inspired features such as underhood suspension bracing and staggered rear shocks. Sheet metal is 99% original. Only 3 previous owners, and always garage-kept. Original letters and emblems on the exterior. Inside is in excellent condition with original deluxe black interior, fold-down rear seat and tilt-away steering column. This car is perfect and correct in every. Found in the Shelby Registry.
