1964 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE EL CAMINO, <P>Ready to experience one of the most well documented 1964 Chevrolet Chevele El Camino's you may ever see We at Happy Days Dream Cars are proud to present to you this very special car, or is it a truck 1964 was the first year that the El Camino was based on the Chevelle body (1st year of the Chevelle too). The original El Camino debuted in 1959 and 1960, but was based on the full sized Chevy at that time. It was then discontinued for three model years before being brought back as a Chevelle. With only 65k original miles, it remained in one family for almost 30 years before undergoing complete frame-off restoration in 1998. An original Texas car, it still retains the original shipping documents, sales, license paperwork, the original accessory brochures and safety instructions - wow! One particular outstanding feature of this car is the bed floor - absolutely perfect with no dents or dings and finished to a high gloss lustre just like the rest of the "truck".
