1970 PLYMOUTH DUSTER 340, 1970 Plymouth Duster 340 in correct B5 Blue with black side & tail stripes, a black vinyl top, white bucket seat interior, factory Rallye wheels, and raised-white-letter BFGoodrich T/A radials. VERY NICE TEXAS CAR WITH ALL ORIGINAL 340 DRIVETRAIN AND FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING. The original 340 engine is factory stock and still fitted with the original Carter AFB carburetor, original cast iron intake manifold, original high-flow exhaust manifolds, original aircleaner assembly, and original electronic ignition. The engine has been recently freshened up with a new water pump, new fan clutch, new cam & lifters, new timing chain & gears, and new Mopar distributor. Fires right and settles into a lopey idle and a deep aggressive exhaust note from the dual freeflow exhaust with correct chrome tips. There are no mechanical issues; no smoke, no leaks, no noises; and runs nicely on premium pump gas. The original 727 Torqueflite transmission shifts perfectly and the original 3.55 positraction rearend provides strong acceleration while allowing relaxed high speed driving. Power steering and power disc brakes for safe easy maneuvering. Beautiful white bucket seat interior with the factory column-mounted shift lever. Excellent seats, excellent carpets, excellent headliner, excellent door panels. The original steering wheel is in excellent condition as is the dash pad. Factory 150 mph speedometer and factory in dash Rallye gauges for Oil Pressure, Water Temperature, Amps, and Fuel Level; all work correctly. The original AM thumbwheel radio is still in place but does not operate. Factory air conditioning; all components are there but does not blow cold. Super straight body with no dents, no dings, no waves, and factory perfect panel fit. I cannot find any patch work or signs of body repair anywhere (typical dry Texas car). Very nice paint done to factory standards in correct B5 blue with a brand new black vinyl top and black side & tail stripes. Excellent chrome bumpers front & rear. Excellent brightwork and stainless steel trim. Excellent glass and both windows operate smoothly plus the rear pop-out windows operate correctly. Excellent weatherstripping, window whiskers, and trunk seal. Factory Rallye wheels with the polished trim rings fitted with brand new P215-70-14 raised-white-letter BFGoodrich T/A Radials. The trunk contains the original rubber trunk mat, original jack assembly, and the spare tire. Just professionally detailed, polished, and hand waxed.
