1971 DODGE DEMON, 1971 DODGE DEMON $28,995.00 Here is what is turning out to be a very popular and fast appreciating little muscle car. Production was extremely low with only 7,899 cars made in 1971 according to the Dodge & Plymouth muscle car Red Book and only produced for two model years, 1971 & 1972. Rumor has it that the Demon name was not popular with the Catholic Church. They were light, weighing in at only 3,165 pounds and with the 340 cubic inch V8 rated at 275 horsepower they were a quick car. This car has a 4-speed transmission and 3.91 rear end gears. The person we got the car from had bought it from the owner who did most of the cosmetic restoration; he then rebuilt the driveline in 2004 along with new tyres, brake work, power steering and new chrome. This car appears to still have the original grain vinyl top that is in really nice condition. It also has the sizzler hood stripe, side stripes, the dual snorkel hood scoops, Rallye wheels, dual exhaust with chrome extensions, disc brakes and bucket seats.
